The chemicals in tobacco smoke cause cell damage and break down the connective tissues that keep the teeth in place. Although tobacco is a very addictive drug, the long term effects are not worth it. It’s best to stay away from tobacco to refrain from getting gum disease. Trying to quit maybe hard but it did definitely achievable.
